Our time is so very precious. Do we wait for something to happen, or do we make it happen? One way we can keep this in the forefront of our mind is to put it down on paper. This committing to paper is something that we usually tend to do at the turn of the year. Or sometimes when we are feeling particularly positive.
It is a good practice to get into
Make a commitment to listen to your inner voice, to what you really want, and do it at least every 3-6 months. Sit down and write it down. Place it somewhere where you can see it as a reminder of your dreams and ambitions. So, what is it that you really want to achieve? What is it you really want to do in life?
Perhaps it could be something like:
- Take up a new passion
- Learn a new skill
- Buy a new car
- Book a holiday
- Start writing your memoirs
Or something more life changing like:
- Take a gap year
- Travel to somewhere new in the world
- Make a career change
- Move house, move area, move country
