Yeoford to Copplestone

This week’s walk is 3.5 miles along part of the Tarka Line passing through beautiful Devonian scenery between Exeter and Barnstaple.

Wistman’s Wood is an ancient forest of dwarf oak trees, steeped in mystery and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

This is one of the loveliest circular walks from Belstone – just over 4 miles – and it’s only a 12 minute drive from Bowerland.

This walk starts at the northern end of Meldon reservoir and takes you to High Willhays and Yes Tor, the highest summits on Dartmoor.

This is a lovely 3 mile dog friendly takes in magnificent views of Fernworthy Stone Circle, Thornworthy Tor and the South Teign River.

The Rocks at Hound Tor are perhaps the most dramatic of Dartmoor’s Tors. About 40 min drive from Bowerland.

This week’s walk starts in Simmons Park before climbing to East Hill revealing splendid views of the high tors of Dartmoor.
