Creating the life you desire starts with your energy. It all starts (and ends) with YOU! The energy that fills your life, the energy you let in, and the energy you give out.
What excites you?
Energy is important to you, so don’t waste it on things that don’t matter in the vast scheme of things. So, the very first tip is to build on your natural energy levels, and be aware of situations when these levels change. Recognise what builds up your energy, what motivates you and what gets you excited.
Make Energy your Buzzword
Think about it, at least weekly, if not daily. Plan it into your life, and write up how you feel afterwards. Committing our thoughts to paper, or electronically, seem to ‘set them in stone.’ Then we have the added bonus of being able to go back and re-read our notes, time after time. A great reminder of the blessings that have lifted us in life.
Last but not Least
Of course, be mindful if you are operating through filters of judgment and condemnation, which can greatly impact your energy levels. Self honesty leads to greater compassion for humanity and all of life on our planet. In the current state of world affairs, you may find it hard to release judgement. The easiest way to bring feelings back to neutral is to offer a blessing, which calms us as well as the recipient.
This is an example of a simple Buddhist blessing: think of such a person and, whether you feel love, gratitude or compassion for them, or the opposite, say:
“May you be free of suffering and the root of suffering;
may you enjoy happiness and the root of happiness.”
