NEW! All guests of Tor View and Dartmoor Inn have the use of our brand new fully enclosed Naughty But Nice Sand Arena for exercising and training their dogs.

Tor View is one of the original barns that was converted by the owners (fans of AbsoluteDOGS will be interested to know they were converted by Lauren, Matt and Tom themselves!) It has kept all of its original features, right down to the repointing of the stonework.

The studio enjoys plenty of natural light through the large rear doors but equally offers total privacy with floor to ceiling blinds. You can cozy up in the lounge after a days training or walking on the moors and enjoy the sumptuous underfloor heating – perfect for those cooler nights!

Walk straight out onto your very own private courtyard garden, which leads to the recently landscaped large turfed garden and view of the tranquil countryside surroundings including the infamous Devon Moors.

The garden is also screened making it perfect for more anxious/reactive NBN dogs. Make use of the herb gardens and in the mornings enjoy beautiful sunsets that will take your breath away.

After dark you are likely to hear the local barn owls whilst enjoying the moon in the night sky as the stars twinkle overhead. You won’t believe just how many stars fill the sky until you see the Devon night sky – the moon almost seems bigger! It’s a spectacle not to be missed on a clear night.

The  studio is just a minute from the Bowerland Training Arena, meaning you are a stones throw from everything you need – yet perfectly situated for a peaceful rural break.

Everything we build and create at Bowerland is done with the environment in mind. The cottage is largely powered by solar and all water is supplied from our very own borehole! Fresh and delicious chemical free water for you and your dogs to enjoy. We are also committed to recycling all plastics.

For walks we are just two minutes away from the moors, the reservoir and the bluebells. We know the BEST places to take your dogs and can even advise on walks around their struggles – just ask!
