The Old Dairy was the original and first “Bowerland Holiday Cottage” and is the most popular of our holiday cottages. Full of original, quirky, rustic features, including the original bread oven! Whilst holidaying with your dog, there will be plenty of time for relaxing in front of the toasty woodburner in the living room after a day of training and exploring the stunning Devon moors.

This cottage also has a pretty conservatory, which overlooks the tranquil garden featuring a patio seating area with table and chairs to enjoy an al fresco lunch in the warm Devon sunshine. Outside, the cottage has its very own herb garden that you are welcome to enjoy during your stay. Fully enclosed, the garden is a beautiful feature and totally private and safe – perfect for anxious and/or reactive dogs.

This is also the closest cottage to the training centre being only a minutes walk away so you can quite literally roll out of bed and into training (we’ll even have the coffee ready for you!)

There is also parking for one car located right outside your gate so you can easily transport your dogs in and out of the car without any worry of bumping into dogs or people.

Everything we build and create at Bowerland is done with the environment in mind. The cottage is largely powered by solar and all water is supplied from our very own borehole! Fresh and delicious chemical free water for you and your dogs to enjoy. We are also committed to recycling all plastics, paper and glass.

After dark you can enjoy the night sky as the stars twinkle overhead. You won’t believe just how many stars fill the sky until you see the Devon night sky – it’s a sight to behold! Matched only by the twinkle of the lights leading up to your cottage to welcome you home after a busy day.
